The Port Authority K500 Silk Touch Polo is a 5-ounce 65/35 poly/cotton pique polo known for wrinkle and shrink resistance and a soft hand. It is one of the most widely uniformed polos in the country, used by restaurants, dealerships, schools, churches and municipal offices that need one shirt in a lot of colors. We lead with embroidery on the K500. Poly/cotton pique is a forgiving, stable base — left-chest logos sit flat and stay legible through years of washing. Every stitch is run in our own Houston shop, and you approve a free digital mockup first.

The only exception anywhere on our site is headwear, which starts at 12 pieces per order — this polo has no such requirement.

Does the K500 shrink after washing?
The 65/35 poly/cotton blend is built for shrink and wrinkle resistance, which is why it holds up in uniform programs. Order your normal size. The run covers XS to 6XL and you can mix sizes freely since there is no minimum.

Can you match my brand colors in thread?
Yes. We match thread to your brand colors and pick a stitch treatment that reads well against whichever of the 37 garment colors you choose — light logos on dark shirts and vice versa. Your free digital mockup shows the final combination before production.

What happens to my logo file after the first order?
It stays on file with us. Your artwork is digitized once and stored for reorders, so the second order is faster and skips the setup step. You never have to resend files or re-approve the same logo.

Can one logo cover a whole uniform program?
That is the normal use. One digitized file covers this polo plus dress shirts, hoodies and jackets. Caps can go on the same purchase order too — headwear starts at 12 pieces, while apparel like this carries no minimum.

What is your turnaround time?
7 to 10 business days after proof approval, with free ground shipping on most orders. If you are up against an event date, ask about rush — we can often move faster.

1. After your order is placed, we enter it into our system and send an "Artwork & Mockup Approval" email within 24-36 hours. This is to verify design, design placement, size, and product colors.
2. Once you approve the artwork mockup, we create the .dst file (stitch file). This file is used to tell our embroidery machines what to stitch. Note: Cancellation after this step incurs a $30 restocking fee.
3. We create a sewout and/or update the mockup using the .dst file and send it to you for approval. It's at this point where you want to make sure all colors, size, and placement are as requested.
4. You may request changes to the same design before sewout and/or .dst approval. A completely new design request at this stage incurs a $30 fee.
5. After final approval, production begins. Once items are decorated, the order is non-refundable unless there is a defect in the product or decoration.

A $30 setup fee is automatically added to the cart and required for all orders. This covers the order processing costs.
