Product Description

Custom Embroidered Mercer+Mettle Stretch Pique Polo (MM1004)

The Mercer+Mettle Stretch Pique Polo (MM1004) is a 5.5-ounce 55/40/5 cotton/poly/spandex diamond pique polo with a flat knit anti-curl collar, a three-button placket with satin-finish rimmed buttons, side vents and a straight drop tail hem. It is the volume choice for company stores, new-hire kits and large staff rollouts. All embroidery is done in-house at our Houston, TX facility, decorating apparel since 1979.

⭐ Founded 1979 📦 No Minimum — Order From 1 🎨 Free Digital Mockup 🚚 Free Ground Shipping

Diamond pique at 5.5 ounces is one of the better embroidery surfaces in a knit polo — enough body to support a dense stitch count without needing heavy backing. Left chest is standard; sleeve, back yoke and nape placements are all available. We also offer woven and leather patches, and DTF print for artwork with gradients.

Product Features

  • 5.5-ounce, 55/40/5 cotton/poly/spandex diamond pique
  • Cotton-rich with all-day moisture-wicking performance
  • Flat knit anti-curl collar
  • 3-button placket with satin-finish rimmed buttons
  • Side vents and straight drop tail hem
  • Eight colors including Apple Red, Night Navy, Parisian Blue and Storm Grey

Why Buyers Pick It

Price per piece is what puts this on the list. At the lowest cost in this group with an eight-color range and sizes from XS to 4XL, it is the polo that makes a 200-person rollout or an always-on company store financially sensible. The anti-curl collar also means it still looks tidy after the wash cycles a mass-issued shirt actually goes through.

Sizing

XS through 4XL — the widest run in this group, covering 2XL, 3XL and 4XL extended sizes plus an XS at the bottom end. That range alone solves most roster problems. Mix every size in one order at no penalty, because there is no minimum on this polo and a single piece is orderable. The women's counterpart is the Mercer+Mettle Women's Stretch Pique Polo MM1005; see also men's polos and women's polos.

How to Order

Ordering is straightforward. Tell us the sizes and colors you need, send artwork, and we return a free digital mockup for approval before a needle touches fabric. No minimum applies here, so a single piece is a legitimate order and mixed sizes cost nothing extra. Once you sign off on the proof, plan on 7-10 business days in production; ask about rush if your date is tight. Free ground shipping covers most orders, and everything is stitched in-house in Houston.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a diamond pique polo?
Pique is a textured knit; diamond pique uses a diamond-pattern structure, here in a 5.5-ounce 55/40/5 cotton/poly/spandex blend. Wholesale Caps and Embroidery decorates it with your logo at our Houston, TX facility. We are a decorator, not a blank-goods wholesaler, and have been in business since 1979.

Is there a minimum order on this polo?
No. There is no minimum on this style, so a single piece is a valid order and so is a shipment of five hundred. You can mix sizes and colors freely because there is no quantity tier to hit. Embroidered caps are the one exception in our catalog: headwear runs start at 12 pieces per order. Apparel like this polo ships from one unit.

What is the full size run?
XS through 4XL, so 2XL, 3XL and 4XL extended sizes are all available alongside an XS. The women's version, MM1005, runs the same XS-4XL range, which makes fitting a mixed team straightforward.

Is the collar going to curl after washing?
It is a flat knit anti-curl collar specifically built to resist that, which is the main reason buyers choose this style for shirts that get washed constantly. Embroidery on the 5.5-ounce pique holds its shape through the same cycles.

Do I pay setup again on a repeat order?
No. The digitized file from your first order is archived here and reused, so reorders skip setup. Tell us the style, size run and colors and we go straight to production against the artwork we already have on file.

Can I put the same logo on other styles?
Yes, and most buyers do. One digitized file runs across polos, quarter-zips, jackets and bags, so a mixed order looks consistent head to toe. You can add embroidered caps to the same order too — just note that headwear is ordered in 12-piece units, while apparel like this polo has no minimum.

How long does production take?
Standard production is 7-10 business days from the moment you approve the digital mockup, and the mockup itself usually comes back within a business day. Rush service is available on request — tell us your in-hands date when you order and we will confirm what is workable.

Ready to move? Send your logo and your size breakdown and we will have a free digital mockup back to you, usually within a business day. No minimum, so start with one piece if you want to see it first.

Proof

  1. After your order is placed, we enter it into our system and send an "Artwork & Mockup Approval" email within 24-36 hours. This is to verify design, design placement, size, and product colors.
  2. Once you approve the artwork mockup, we create the .dst file (stitch file). This file is used to tell our embroidery machines what to stitch. Note: Cancellation after this step incurs a $30 restocking fee.
  3. We create a sewout and/or update the mockup using the .dst file and send it to you for approval. It's at this point where you want to make sure all colors, size, and placement are as requested.
  4. You may request changes to the same design before sewout and/or .dst approval. A completely new design request at this stage incurs a $30 fee.
  5. After final approval, production begins. Once items are decorated, the order is non-refundable unless there is a defect in the product or decoration.

Setup Charge

A $30 setup fee is automatically added to the cart and required for all orders. This covers the order processing costs.
