Product Description
Custom Embroidered TravisMathew Auckland Slub Polo (TM1MW451)
The TravisMathew Auckland Slub Polo (TM1MW451) is a 4.4-ounce 63/37 polyester/cotton slub men's polo with 4-way stretch, built-in collar stays and a three-button placket. Agencies, real estate teams, breweries and client-facing consultants order it when a branded shirt needs to look like a personal purchase rather than issued kit. Every logo is stitched in-house at our Houston, TX facility, where we have decorated apparel since 1979.
Slub yarn gives the surface a deliberate irregularity, so we tune stitch density to keep letterforms sharp against that texture. Left chest embroidery is standard; 3D puff works well on bold marks here because the raised stitch plays against the slub. Woven and leather patches are available, as is DTF print for detailed artwork.

- Four colors: Blue Nights, Dark Grey, Purple Sage, Riviera Blue
Why Buyers Pick It
Some teams will not wear a uniform, and this is the shirt that gets past that objection. The slub texture reads retail, not corporate issue, so creative staff, brokers and client-side consultants actually put it on outside of work — which is free brand exposure you do not get from a flat jersey polo sitting in a drawer. Add a small tonal left-chest logo and it stops looking like a giveaway entirely.
Sizing
S through 3XL, with 2XL and 3XL both available as extended sizes. The 4-way stretch means the fit is forgiving between sizes, but a sample is cheap here: with no minimum you can order one piece, try it, then place the roster order. Browse more men's polos, and see women's polos for women's cuts to run alongside it.
How to Order
Pick your colors and sizes, send your logo in whatever format you have, and we take it from there. There is no minimum on this polo, so ordering one piece to check the fit is a real option and so is ordering four hundred for a full roster. Every order includes a free digital mockup showing your embroidery at actual size in the exact placement, and nothing goes to the machines until you approve it. Production runs 7-10 business days from proof approval, rush is available on request, and ground shipping is free on most orders.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a slub polo?
Slub is a yarn spun with intentional thick-and-thin variation, giving fabric a textured, slightly uneven surface — here in a 4.4-ounce 63/37 polyester/cotton blend. Wholesale Caps and Embroidery adds your logo to it in-house in Houston, TX. We decorate garments; we do not sell blanks. In business since 1979.
What is the minimum order quantity?
There isn't one. Order one piece if that is all you need, or outfit a full staff roster. Sizes and colors can be mixed in any combination. The only exception we run is headwear: embroidered caps start at 12 pieces per order. Polos, knits, dress shirts and outerwear carry no minimum at all.
Does slub fabric affect sizing?
No. It runs S to 3XL like the rest of the TravisMathew men's line, with 4-way stretch built in. What slub changes is the look and hand of the fabric, not the size grade.
Does embroidery look good on textured fabric?
Yes, with the right setup. We adjust stitch density and use a backing suited to the slub so the logo edges stay crisp instead of sinking into the texture. Tonal thread looks especially good on this one, and the mockup shows you the result first.
Do you keep my artwork on file for reorders?
Yes. Once your logo is digitized for embroidery, the stitch file stays on record at our Houston facility. Reorders skip setup entirely — send the style number, colors and sizes and we run it against the same file, so your third order matches your first stitch for stitch.
Can I mix this with other apparel and with caps?
Absolutely. The same stitch file goes on knits, outerwear and bags, and mixing styles in one order is normal here. Caps can ride along on the same purchase order; headwear simply starts at 12 pieces per style, while this polo does not.
What is the turnaround time?
Count on 7-10 business days after proof approval. Because decoration is done in-house in Houston rather than farmed out, we control the schedule and can quote rush on request. Free ground shipping applies to most orders once the run is finished.
Send artwork whenever you are ready. We will build a free mockup, confirm placement and thread colors, and get the run scheduled. Order one piece or several hundred — there is no minimum either way.
Proof
Proof
- After your order is placed, we enter it into our system and send an "Artwork & Mockup Approval" email within 24-36 hours. This is to verify design, design placement, size, and product colors.
- Once you approve the artwork mockup, we create the .dst file (stitch file). This file is used to tell our embroidery machines what to stitch. Note: Cancellation after this step incurs a $30 restocking fee.
- We create a sewout and/or update the mockup using the .dst file and send it to you for approval. It's at this point where you want to make sure all colors, size, and placement are as requested.
- You may request changes to the same design before sewout and/or .dst approval. A completely new design request at this stage incurs a $30 fee.
- After final approval, production begins. Once items are decorated, the order is non-refundable unless there is a defect in the product or decoration.
