The Carhartt Workwear Pocket Short Sleeve T-Shirt CTK87 is a durable 6.75-ounce, 100% cotton jersey knit work shirt with a rib knit crewneck, left chest pocket, tagless neck label, side-seamed construction and a loose fit. Contractors, fleet operators, plants and trade shops buy it decorated for crews. We print and embroider it in-house at our Houston, Texas facility, decorating since 1979.

Screen printing on the back and DTF (direct-to-film) printing for detailed logos are the primary methods, and the left chest pocket changes the plan — a chest print has to sit above or beside the pocket, so left chest embroidery on the pocket itself is often the cleaner answer on this style. Carhartt's own label stays sewn on the pocket; your mark goes alongside it.

How does the CTK87 fit and what sizes are stocked?
Loose fit in a durable 6.75-ounce cotton jersey knit, stocked S through 4XL. Extended sizes are part of the regular run and there is no minimum per size, so a single shirt for one new hire is a normal order.

Where can the logo go with a chest pocket in the way?
Directly on the pocket as an embroidered left chest mark is the most common solution, or a print placed above or opposite the pocket. Full back prints are unaffected. We lay out the options on your free digital mockup before anything is decorated.

Do you keep my artwork on file for reorders?
Yes. Screens, print files and digitized embroidery files stay on file after your first order, so reorders skip setup entirely. Reorder one piece next month for a new hire and it will match the first batch.

Can I put the same logo on other styles too?
Yes. Trade shops routinely put one logo on Carhartt tees, hooded sweatshirts and caps for the same crew. Mixing decorated apparel with caps in the same order is fine as well — just note caps are ordered by the dozen while apparel is not.

How long does an order take?
Plan on 7–10 business days from the moment you approve your digital proof. Rush production is available on request — tell us your in-hands date when you send artwork and we will confirm it before we start.

1. After your order is placed, we enter it into our system and send an "Artwork & Mockup Approval" email within 24-36 hours. This is to verify design, design placement, size, and product colors.
2. Once you approve the artwork mockup, we create the .dst file (stitch file). This file is used to tell our embroidery machines what to stitch. Note: Cancellation after this step incurs a $30 restocking fee.
3. We create a sewout and/or update the mockup using the .dst file and send it to you for approval. It's at this point where you want to make sure all colors, size, and placement are as requested.
4. You may request changes to the same design before sewout and/or .dst approval. A completely new design request at this stage incurs a $30 fee.
5. After final approval, production begins. Once items are decorated, the order is non-refundable unless there is a defect in the product or decoration.

A $30 setup fee is automatically added to the cart and required for all orders. This covers the order processing costs.
